The art print SQUARE 22 is yet another piece from my SQUARE SERIES. The series explores the use of the labyrinth as subject for abstract art. The visual concept behind this group artworks is "textile Mondrian". It combines the limited color palette and the simple, orthogonal break down of the picture plane of Mondrian paintings with the interlacing of textile weaving.

The resulting images are created to serve to purposes. They are artworks to be used as wall decoration in variety of space types (A list of places that these images are suitable for: home wall decor, office wall decor, hospital wall decor, hotel wall decor, library wall decor, school wall decor, waiting room wall decor, hallway wall decor, classroom wall decor, kindergarten wall decor, bank wall decor, coffee shop wall decor, entryway wall decor, lobby wall decor, lounge wall decor, doctor office wall decor, children's room wall decor, etc. The list is still growing). They are especially suitable for public spaces.

The second purpose that this series of artworks was created for is to be collected in a puzzle coffee table book. These are labyrinth puzzles (maze puzzles) that are meant to be solved visually without the use of a pen or pencil. They test players' concentration and patience and focus. The idea for the coffee table book was to collect 100 of these maze SQUARES (so far I have created 30 and the mazes get progressively more difficult to solve) in a 12x12" full color puzzle book. While originally it was my intention to self-publish this coffee table puzzle book (it is to be on of three puzzle coffee table books, each one is a different type of visual puzzle), this is currently not possible due to my lack of funds. So now I am in the process of trying to find a publisher for these maze puzzles at the same time that I am offering a selected number of them as customizable art prints.
